Blake Liebert, DVM — Chief of Staff
Dr. Blake Liebert, Chief of Staff, received his DVM degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. He completed a small animal internship at Veterinary Specialists of Connecticut. Dr. Liebert then joined the Intown Veterinary Group in 2003 prior to becoming the medical director of Muddy Creek Animal Care Center in October 2007.
Sylvia Reiser, DVM
Dr. Sylvia Reiser received her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University and joined the Muddy Creek Animal Care Center in July of 2003. Prior to her veterinary career, Dr. Reiser practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist and that interest in dentistry has carried over into her current professional life. Her other interests include small animal medicine and surgery as well as behavioral medicine.
Dr. Reiser is a member of the American Veterinary Dental Society as well as the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners and Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association. On a more local level, she enjoys participating in the Veterinary Association of the North Shore and frequently volunteers her surgical services at regional spay and neuter clinics.
Clare Flanagan, DVM
Dr. Clare Flanagan grew up in Holbrook and currently lives in Somerville. She received her undergraduate degree from MIT and her veterinary degree from Tufts University. Prior to joining the Muddy Creek Animal Care Center, Dr. Flanagan practiced at the Animal Hospital of Nashua in NH.
Dr. Flanagan has a special interest in surgery. When she is not at work, she enjoys hiking, rowing and baking. She has an American curl cat named Darwin.
Ashley Phillips, DVM
Dr. Ashley Phillips grew up in Southern California and currently resides in Somerville, MA. She received an undergraduate degree from UC San Diego and earned her DVM degree from the UC Davis. Her special interests include internal medicine, surgery, and ophthalmology.
Outside of work, Dr. Phillips enjoys spending time with outdoors with her husband and dog, a border collie named Macey.
Katie Neil, DVM
Dr. Katie Neil grew up in northern Ohio on a hobby farm with numerous pets including dairy goats, chickens, sheep, horses and honey bees. She earned a DVM degree from the University of Wisconsin and prior to joining the Muddy Creek Animal Care Center team Dr. Neil practiced at a busy small animal hospital in southern Wisconsin. In addition to preventive care, her passions include pain management, dermatology and internal medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her sweet and very energetic flat coat retriever, and doing outdoor activities including hiking, canoeing, and camping.
